photochromatic ink + visionaire = brilliant

I have been reading about the wonders of photochromatic ink.

the amazing publication visionaire [http://www.visionaireworld.com]
has printed the new issue 56 solar using this technique. in artificial light the book is in black and white, but in sunlight the colors appear, giving the issue a new dimension. the ink is transparent, but the heat of the sun brings out its color, which becomes transparent again when the temperature lowers.

the collaboration with calvin klein features work from yoko ono, peter lindbergh, ryan mcginley, among others.

my first blog

the first entry in my blog would have to be a list. lists are what i make obsessively. lists are the only things that help me to clear my thoughts and establish new ones. lists are the only way i can remember what to do or why i am doing it. my lists are recorded in 2.9 x 8.3 inch bright orange rhodia pads - i have many of them. when the pad is not readily available, the lists are on the back of mail, receipts, envelopes, bus tickets, magazines, napkins, or any other scrap that is nearby. unfortunately those lists always get lost because they are not in THE pad.

so here is a list of a few things that i think about, things i love and things i will be blogging about in no particular order:
